From pneumatics to wireless, from kilobyte to terabyte, from Fortran to Java, Transdyn has been designing and building state-of-the-art systems for over 30 years. From a small, dedicated group of instrumentation engineers in Silicon Valley, we have grown to a full service system integrator with major systems around the world.

Transdyn was established in 1975 to serve the San Francisco Bay area’s expanding process control and instrumentation market. In 1984, we entered the digital era and began development of our own software product called DYNAC®. To improve service to our East Coast customers, we expanded to metro Atlanta in 1987. In 1993, the company was acquired by Powell Industries, a move that further strengthened our financial capacity and worldwide resources. In 1999 and 2003, we established offices in Virginia Beach and Metropolitan New York to serve our Mid-Atlantic and Northeast customers.

Throughout this evolution, our staff has grown in depth and expertise. Relying on our core values and well-known as one of the United States leading environmental control system integrators, we now provide systems and services for all types of facilities and processes including transportation, energy, and manufacturing.

From water treatment plants to military bases to major transportation facilities, we continue to help our clients around the world use new technology to more securely and efficiently clean water, deliver energy, manufacture goods, and move traffic.
