Project Description:
The City of Bellingham’s Post Point Pollution Control Plant treats wastewater from 289 miles of sewer mains that run throughout the city in addition to septic tank pumping for Whatcom County. The plant processes approximately twelve million gallons of wastewater per day.
The Transdyn distributed control system managed by DYNAC® SCADA provides monitoring and control capabilities for the Post Point plant's primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment as well as incineration control. In addition, the system provides monitoring and control of approximately fifty remote water and wastewater sites and the City's water treatment plant.
