Maryland Transportation Authority Video Surveillance Program
Owner: Maryland Transportation Authority
Location: Statewide, MD

Since 1971, the Maryland Transportation Authority has been responsible for constructing, managing, operating and improving the State’s toll facilities, as well as for financing new revenue-producing transportation projects. The Authority’s seven toll facilities - a turnpike, two tunnels and four bridges - provide for the advancement of a safe, secure and convenient movement of people and goods for the benefit of the citizens of Maryland.

Transdyn has been selected to maintain and expand Maryland Transportation Authority’s video surveillance systems. The program will include preventative and corrective maintenance of all existing and future Authority video surveillance sites. Roadways and facilities covered under the program include the Fort McHenry Tunnel, Baltimore Harbor Tunnel, Francis Scott Key Bridge, Hatem Memorial Bridge, Nice Memorial Bridge, Kennedy Memorial Highway, Tydings Memorial Bridge, and the William Preston Lane, Jr. Memorial Bridge (Bay Bridge).

Transdyn is furnishing, installing, integrating, testing, commissioning, and maintaining video surveillance equipment, and providing training and technical support.
